Highlights in Delray Beach
Foil highlights for brightness that starts at the root. Partial from $150, three-quarter from $200, full from $250, placed after a consultation.

Partial, three-quarter or full
Highlights are sections of hair lightened in foils. Foil holds the lightener close to the hair and keeps each section separate, which gives more lift and more precise placement than painting by hand. It is the technique for bright blondes and for brightness that begins right at the root.
The difference between partial, three-quarter and full is how much of the head is foiled. Partial covers the top and the hairline, the parts people see first. Three-quarter adds the sides and the crown. Full includes the underneath, which matters if you wear your hair up.
At Pier Blondie in Delray Beach, partial highlights start at $150, three-quarter at $200 and full highlights at $250. Lowlights, a root melt or a gloss can soften or deepen the result. We choose the placement together at consultation, before any color is mixed.

Before you book
- How much do highlights cost in Delray Beach?
- At Pier Blondie, partial highlights start at $150, three-quarter highlights at $200 and full highlights at $250. Partial lowlights start at $140. The final price depends on length and density and is confirmed at consultation, before any color is mixed.
- Should I get partial or full highlights?
- Partial highlights brighten the top and the hairline, which is enough for a refresh or a subtle change. Full highlights include the underneath, so the color looks even when your hair is up. If you are unsure, start with partial. Adding foils later is easy.
- How often do highlights need touching up?
- Most clients come back every 8 to 12 weeks, when the line at the root starts to show. A gloss or toner in between keeps blonde from turning brassy and starts at $50.
- What are babylights?
- Babylights are very fine foil highlights placed close together. They give a soft, natural brightness and grow out with a gentler line than standard highlights. Tell us when you book if that is the look you want, because the placement takes longer.
- What are lowlights, and do I need them?
- Lowlights add darker pieces instead of lighter ones. They bring depth back to hair that has been highlighted for years and has gone flat or too light all over. Partial lowlights start at $140 and are often done alongside highlights.
- Will highlights damage my hair?
- Any lightening changes the hair, so the real question is how much and how fast. We check the condition of your hair at consultation and lift in stages when that is the safer route. Going from dark to very light in one visit is where most damage happens.
- Highlights or balayage?
- Highlights give more lift and brightness from the root. Balayage, from $275, gives a softer, lived-in result that needs fewer visits. Many clients have both in one appointment.
